The 50 Boyz was a small-time drug dealing crew based in Southwest Detroit, led by Meech and Terry, until the crew rebranded as Black Mafia Family. Prior to the rebranding, their name "Fifty Boyz" was derived from the fact that they solely sold $50 bags of dope. Unrelated, they had a rule of never selling to white people in fear that they were either undercover cops or would bring the attention of cops. (The 50 Boyz https://youtu.be/uLdtkIMMde4 )
