Filmel is a recurring character on the Starz original crime drama BMF. He is portrayed by Markice Moore.
Filmel is a member of the 12th Street Boys and Jay Mo's right hand.
Biography[]
War with the 50 Boyz[]
Filmel and 12th Street meet with Meech and Terry to discuss the 50 Boyz moving into their territory, but Terry pulls a gun as a show of force, for which Filmel confronts him, leading Meech to rethink his stance, and as a show of good faith, he decides to pull back and give them the area near the funeral home. Afterward, Filmel, Jay Mo, and Slick approach Lamar Silas at Club Taboo and make him an offer to join their crew, but Lamar declines, which doesn't come as a surprise to Filmel, who claims it was bad idea from the jump, as Lamar's still institutionalized.[1]

Having reconsidered their offer, Lamar approaches Jay Mo in hopes of joining 12th Street, however, Filmel doesn't trust Lamar and is eager to put him down, whereas Jay Mo is willing to at least give him a chance. Filmel is later approached by Meech with a proposition. He suspects that Filmel may have been interested in the same deal he offered Jay Mo when they first met at the arena, to possibly join forces to conquer the city, however, this would require him to take out Jay Mo. Filmel insists that he isn't interested, only to later be ambushed by Lamar, who bashes Filmel's head in with an empty paint can and dumps him in the trash.[2]
After his beating by Lamar, Filmel is taken to the Downriver Memorial Hospital, where he lies in bed with a broken arm and leg. He attempts to call for a nurse, but Lamar intervenes and threatens to kill Filmel unless he promises to leave town as soon as he's released from the hospital. Lamar applies so much pressure to Filmel that he unintentionally pees himself.[3]
