Biography[]
Going into business with the 50 Boyz[]
Big L approaches Meech and Terry at a bar after agreeing to meet with them to discuss possibly working together. However, she doesn't identify herself, and instead monitors the brothers' behavior, especially Meech, who she believes is too flashy. Later, Big L meets with Terry. She's done her homework, and while Terry may be green, she is willing to do business with him on one condition, that being that she will only work with him directly. Terry and Big L come to an agreement and shake hands.[1]
Big L shows Terry around her gallery. Her father was a struggling artist who worked out of their house. After he died, Big L's brother ran everything until she finished school and joined the family business, turning it into a place of culture. More than anything, Big L likes giving back and money allows her to do just that. She questions why Terry came to see her. He asks for an extension to adjust their re-up schedule, but Big L declines.[2]
To Big L's surprise, Terry has brought Meech to their re-up, disregarding their agreement. Meech attempts to explain that their business is expanding and that they need more product, ten keys to be exact. However, Big L draws her gun and demands that Meech exit her gallery and warns Terry that she'll kill both him and Meech if he ever disrespects her like that again. As for the ten keys, Big L grants Terry's request, informing him that their partnership has no limit provided that he continue to value the terms of their agreement.[3]
